Panoramic X-rays: Also known as orthopantomograms or panoramic radiographs, panoramic x-rays provide a full panoramic view of your upper and lower jaw and teeth, jaw bones and joints. It’s essentially a two-dimensional overview of your teeth and the structures supporting them. It is particularly useful for the detection of impacting wisdom teeth, the source of tooth aches and pains, and the locations of extreme periodontal damage.
Cephalometric X-rays: Cephalometric X-rays function in the same way as panoramic x-rays, except they provide a radiograph of the side view of a patient’s skull. Cephalometrix x-rays allow dentists to investigate the growth patterns of a patient’s jaw prior to orthodontic treatment.
Biolase Waterlase iPLus: A revolutionary advancement in dental technology, the Biolase Waterlase iPlus is a tool that carries out all the functions of a traditional dental drill, but in a safer, more efficient and painless manner. Because it does not apply any heat, vibration or pressure on the sensitive areas of your teeth, the Biolase Waterlase iPlus reduces the need for anesthetics and the time spent in a dentist’s chair.
